Since before the election of Donald Trump CNN has been downhill in regards to ratings. After Donald Trump they have seen continues failure at an accelerated rate. CNN has seen a sharp decline in viewers over a one year period, it was noted that they fell 41% from 2017 to 2018, this is not a good sign for the media giant.
