Paul Manafort was just sentenced in Washington D.C. on Wednesday and has now been indicted by New York City prosecutors on state charges.
According to CNBC:
New York prosecutors indicted former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort on Wednesday, only minutes after his sentencing in a federal case.
Crucially, President Donald Trump does not have pardon power for state charges.
Sources have stated that Manafort could face charges in 4 states and this new revelation makes him pardon proof for the president.
