Former Vice President officially announced he is running for president on Thursday and immediately after was given a nickname by President Trump.
According to Town Hall:
Former Vice President Joe Biden officially entered the 2020 race for the White House on Thursday morning, saying in a video we’re living in an “abhorrent time.” He also argued America’s “core values” are at stake.
The core values of this nation… our standing in the world… our very democracy…everything that has made America — America –is at stake. That’s why today I’m announcing my candidacy for President of the United States. #Joe2020 https://t.co/jzaQbyTEz3

Shortly after the announcement, President Trump welcomed “Sleepy Joe” to the Democrat primary and wished him luck.
Welcome to the race Sleepy Joe. I only hope you have the intelligence, long in doubt, to wage a successful primary campaign. It will be nasty – you will be dealing with people who truly have some very sick & demented ideas. But if you make it, I will see you at the Starting Gate!

Meanwhile, the RNC is already all over Biden and pointing out this will be the third time he’s attempted a presidential run.
Joe Biden has no business running for president again.
Just ask President Obama, who’s chosen *not* to endorse his right-hand man.
Biden has been losing presidential bids for decades – 2020 won’t be any different.

If Joe Biden wants to keep score:
In 8 years, Biden & Obama had a net loss of 193,000 manufacturing jobs.
In just over 2 years, @realDonaldTrump has created 453,000 manufacturing jobs.
Don’t let Biden take us backwards!

Joe Biden literally can’t hide from the economic successes of @realDonaldTrump’s administration.
Biden chose Pennsylvania to launch his campaign – a state where the unemployment rate just dropped to the lowest level *ever recorded.*

Top pollsters currently tag Biden as the frontrunner, but not necessarily the favorite to win the Democrat primary.
Some reports indicate that Biden is already leading Trump in the polls but the Dem primary still stands in his way.
