EPA Reassigns Top Trump Resister

The bureaucracy has always been known to slow positive change in government. But this has become even more prolific as many bureaucrats have openly resisted the implementation of Trump’s agenda.

Now, a top bureaucrat in the EPA has been reassigned for being a fervent anti-Trump resister.

According to The Daily Caller:

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) transferred a top official who critics see as a key resistor of President Donald Trump’s agenda, The Daily Caller News Foundation has learned.

Christopher Grundler, director of EPA’s Office of Transportation and Air Quality, will be moving to another agency division in early August.

EPA will make Grundler director of the Office of Atmospheric Programs, which oversees climate change programs. Sarah Dunham will replace Grundler as director of the Office of Transportation and Air Quality, which is in charge of setting vehicle emissions standards.

“[The Office of Air and Radiation] is very fortunate to have leaders with the level of experience, expertise, executive skill, and commitment to EPA’s mission that Chris and Sarah bring to their work,” Bill Wehrum, EPA’s assistant administrator for Office of Air and Radiation, said in a statement emailed to TheDCNF.

Grundler was key to rolling out Obama-era regulation on the auto-industry including the burdensome tailpipe emissions regulations. Trump has vowed to reverse these regulations and this seems to be a step in the right direction.

Grundler was known as a key opponent of the auto industry. One of the top industries in the United States.
