Twitter Blocks Link to Anti-AOC PAC

A new report is indicating that the link to the anti-Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez PAC, Stop The AOC PAC is being blocked by Twitter.

This claim is being made by conservative pundit Dan Backer who is the founder and treasurer for the organization.

According to Newsmax:

A conservative commentator charged Wednesday he’s being blocked from posting on Twitter the link to a group opposed to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y.

Dan Backer, who has written for the Federalist, Fox News, the Daily Caller and the Washington Examiner — and who says he’s the founder and treasurer of the Stop the AOC PAC — suspects a political motive.

A conservative commentator charged Wednesday he’s being blocked from posting on Twitter the link to a group opposed to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y.

….

But Backer insisted the social media platform “is expressly blocking the URL of our organization, the only grassroots organization opposing AOC.”

Backer claims that when he tweeted without the link it was fine but when the link was included Twitter wouldn’t allow the tweet to be sent.

A source has claimed that the URL can be tweeted but it doesn’t appear to be the case. Twitter would not comment on the situation.
