CNN reported a fake news story about Anthony Scaramucci that ended up in the resignation of three employees at the network. CNN reported that Scaramucci was under investigation because he met with Russians prior to Trump’s inauguration.

This was false and the network issued an apology to Scaramucci after the fact.
