Congress is at a fork in the road, one path is more familiar and represents the same old Washington DC that we have always known, the other is a dark turn that threatens the very way checks and balances work. 

As of now, there is no substantial evidence that President Trump has committed an impeachable offense, but this hasn’t stopped the left from moving forward with the impeachment process. If the Democrats end up going all the way and impeaching Trump they will have set a precedent the United States will likely take some time to recover from.
