Tucker Carlson Leaves the Daily Caller, Sells Stake in Company

Fox News host Tucker Carlson is leaving the Daily Caller, according to a Wall Street Journal report.

Carlson is also selling his stake in the company which he helped found along with Neil Patel in 2010. Carlson served as the site’s editor-in-chief.

The primetime TV host wants to put more focus on his show Tucker Carlson Tonight.

He told the Wall Street Journal “I’m just too absorbed in what I’m doing. I wasn’t helping in any way, because I’ve got an hour to do every night” referring to his show on Fox News.

Last week Tucker Carlson placed his Washington, DC home on the market for $3.95 million. For those of your wondering, the home is a 7,400 square-foot custom home with five bedrooms and 6.5 baths.

These moves could fuel speculation that Tucker might move his operations to New York City where Fox News’ main studio is located.

Prior to his time at Fox News and the Daily Caller, Carlson had shows on both MSNBC and CNN.
