Martha Pacold

Pacold is a judge on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and former Deputy General Counsel for the Treasury Department. Earlier in her career Pacold served as Counsel to the Attorney General at the U.S. Department of Justice and as Special Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia. She was also a clerk for Justice Clarence Thomas from 2004 to 2005 and worked as a law clerk for Judge Jay Bybee of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
