Amy Coney Barnett

Speculated by many to be Trump’s number one Supreme Court candidate Barnett is a judge on the U.S Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit in Chicago. The judge was a former clerk to Justice Antonin Scalia. The devout Catholic attended Notre Dame Law School where she later worked as a professor before becoming a federal judge. While on the Seventh Circuit Barnett declared a Wisconsin law that prohibited anyone convicted of a felony even if it was not a violent crime to be unconstitutional. Barnett has also voted to uphold the Trump administration’s “public charge” rule.
