Director SLAMS Fellow Democrats and Media in Revealing Documentary

Director Namrata Singh Gujral is a Democrat but after making the documentary, “America’s Forgotten” she found herself questioning if she could actually cast her vote for Biden this November. “America’s Forgotten” is meant to be a “tough love” message to Democrats but ultimately exposes them for the hypocrites they really are. The filmmaker risked her career to tell an honest story about illegal immigration and how Democrats use it as “a tool to get votes.”

The actress-turned-director was inspired to make the film after hearing the heartbreaking story of 6-year-old Gurupreet Kaur, an Indian girl who died of heatstroke attempting to cross the U.S.-Mexico border. The young child’s parents were desperate to provide a better life in America, this desperation piqued Gurjal’s curiosity causing her to dig deeper into the family’s story, illegal immigration, and the political rhetoric surrounding the subject. What she found was shocking.

While working on the project Gujral was surprised to find out that the Kaurs who were desperate enough to risk their child’s life in hopes of reaching America were not living in an impoverished shack-like situation reporters had led her to believe but instead a clean modest home in a nice neighborhood in India. So what could have possibly prompted the family to risk everything? Constant messaging from past Democrat presidents touting the promise of free healthcare to illegal immigrants is one major factor. This twisting of the truth from Liberals causes families to abandon everything and risk their lives in hopes of coming to America, Gural said, “they don’t need to be there.”

The filmmaker was stunned that the media had left out key details surrounding Gurupreet’s tragic death. She found herself wondering how and why reporters could possibly leave out information about the family’s economic status. That’s when she realized, “this is all a hoax.”

“There’s no way they didn’t know all of this … they’re either disregarding it or intentionally sweeping it under the carpet,” she said.

Her deep dive into learning about illegal immigration led her to see exactly how it affects different parts of America and yes, even congressional elections. Gujral discovered how often the media leads Americans to believe that all illegal immigrants come from extreme poverty, a fact often twisted by reporters and how politicians use this biased reporting to win elections.

Making the documentary was more difficult than the director ever expected. Gujral had the burden of funding the film herself and many professionals turned their backs on the director because of the film’s content. In an interview with Newsweek, the director disclosed that a film producer offered to help only if she would agree to remove a scene that depicted presidential candidate Joe Biden in a negative light. She refused.

Not only was she pressured to frame the film in a certain light to appeal to the Left but every crew member asked their name be left off the credits from fear of the lasting repercussions the film would have on their careers. Colleagues refused to work on the documentary saying the film was “too right-wing.” The documentary is based on facts, not any political bias.

The documentary calls out her fellow Democrats and is meant to serve as a wake-up call. Gujral said, “The Democrat Party has gone way left. Until people like me in the Democrat Party that are more American than Democrat stand up and speak out against it, America’s gonna be in a free fall, highjacked by extremism.”

“America’s Forgotten” is set to release on October 16th at Americasforgottenmovie.com.
