Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot was seen in the streets celebrating after media outlets declared Joe Biden the winner of the 2020 presidential election. However, only days later the mayor defended her reasoning for Chicago residents to “cancel” any traditional Thanksgiving plans. The mayor has issued a “Stay-at-Home” advisory which went into effect Monday, Nov. 16 at 6 a.m.
