New York City was one of the cities hit hardest by the Coronavirus and therefore has had some of the strictest protocols put in place. Over the past few months, the Big Apple has looked like a ghost town as people with anywhere to go have fled the city. However, the mayor had no problem pushing the rules aside to celebrate Joe Biden’s victory as he hit the streets of NYC alongside pal Chuck Schumer.
“Congratulations, President-elect @JoeBiden and Vice President-elect @KamalaHarris! New York City stands ready to work with you to heal our country and set us on a better path.”
