The second set of articles of impeachment brought forward by the House: obstruction of Congress. The House alleged that President Trump interfered with the inquiry into foreign solicitation to help his re-election by instructing administration officials to ignore subpoenas for documents and testimony. The Senate acquitted President Trump on both charges.
