Kelly Armstrong
Congressman Kelly Armstrong stood against President Trump as he attached his name to Massie’s press release regarding the overturn of the presidential election. In his statement, Rep. Armstrong noted his continued loyalty to the President but defended his decision not to object to the certification process due to concerns that the process will open the opportunity for larger states to challenge smaller states’ electoral votes.
This the most consequential vote I will ever take in Congress, as it speaks directly to the fundamentals of our Republic. While I have consistently and passionately defended President Trump, as state party chair and as a member of Congress, I cannot support this course of action.
