Jon Ossoff

Jon Ossoff is a 33-year-old media executive with no experience holding public office and being held accountable for anyone but himself. Ossoff has deliberately tried to hide his connections to the Chinese Communist Party but was later called out by incumbent Republican David Perdue. Only after Perdue’s comments did Ossoff amend his finances to reveal his financial ties to the Hong Kong media conglomerate which has openly spoken against the pro-democracy protests in Hong Kong. Ossoff previously made an unsuccessful attempt in 2017 when he ran a historically expensive campaign for Georgia’s 6th District House seat. Ossoff has been endorsed by some of his party’s most radical members including Stacey Abrams and Bernie Sanders.
