Democrat Representative Stephanie Murphy’s Florida district is being targeted by American Action Network’s ads focused on H.R. 1. If the bill is passed it could commit “full congressional voting rights and self-government for the residents of the District of Columbia, which only statehood can provide” a clearly politically motivated move by Democrats to enhance their majority.
