Amid rumors that disgraced Duchess Meghan Markle could be considering a run for president in 2024, Trump says if she decides to throw her hat into the political ring it may only tempt him more to run again. Trump made the comments during a wide-ranging interview with Fox News Maria Bartiromo, noting he is “not a fan” of the former Duchess.

According to reports from The Hill:

“Mr. President, what was your take on Meghan Markle now saying — meeting with Democratic operatives, she may want to run for president?” Fox News host Maria Bartiromo asked Trump during a wide-ranging interview.

“I hope that happens,” Trump responded. “If that happened, I think I’d have an even stronger feeling toward running,” adding he’s “not a fan” of Meghan.

Meghan Markle and her husband Prince Harry recently participated in a bombshell interview with celebrity journalist Oprah Winfrey. The interview marked the first major public statements from the couple since their decision to give up their royal titles and move to America. During the interview, Markle brought up allegations of racist comments from unnamed members of the royal family in regard to their son Archie.

Trump defended the queen and the royal family during the Fox News appearance.

“I happen to think, I know the queen, as you know. I have met with the queen and I think the queen is a tremendous person, and I am not a fan of Meghan,” he said.

Could Markle seriously be considering a run for president? Her chances for success in winning the Democrat’s nomination are extremely unlikely considering her lack of experience in the political arena and the fact she and Price Harry’s approval ratings plummeted after the Oprah interview aired.

However, the idea of Trump obliterating the failed princess during a political debate would be something for the ages. What do you think?
