It’s no secret that CNN hated President Trump. The liberal network was obsessed with attacking the Republican president and his family since he stepped foot in the White House, the barrage of attacks seemed endless. However, conservative investigative journalism network Project Veritas has unearthed a video that shows CNN technical director Charlie Chester on hidden camera detailing how the left-wing network’s objective was far more sinister than constantly attacking Trump to simply drive views and make money.
Through the video, Chester can be seen detailing how CNN would often push stories and reports based on nothing but speculation in order to sway Americans into voting for Biden in the 2020 election. Chester details how CNN would push what he called “propaganda” into their so-called reporting even going as far to say he believes without a doubt that CNN played an integral role in defeating President Trump.

Part of CNN’s tactic was to paint Joe Biden as a “young geriatric” as Chester can be seen saying in the video, someone the public could liken to a responsible and wise grandfather but still will plenty of energy and spunk to get things done for the country. The network then continued what it had been doing for years, villainizing Trump and painting him out to be some type of right-wing power-hungry lunatic who was unfit to lead based on a scheme concocted in a liberal newsroom-not any doctors office.
This is when Chester confirms CNN never had any data to back up their claims Trump had any neurological issues saying, “We were creating a story there that we didn’t know anything about. I think that’s propaganda.”
Substack reports:
CNN trotted out expert after expert to attest to the theory. Whatever these people were “expert” in, it wasn’t in the medical condition of the human they were openly speculating about. If they had those specifics, of course, it wouldn’t be speculation. It would be news.
None had direct, specific knowledge of what they spoke, but the news business has never required that of “experts.” Only a credential of some sort and a willingness to offer good quote, regardless of what they know or don’t.
The public, by and large, can’t tell between the two. They figure the newsfolk know what they’re doing, and chose those experts for a reason. Which is true. That reason: the aforementioned willingness to give good quote.
News is a business. Don’t ever forget that. Being portrayed as an expert is good for business for the expert, while having experts on dial is good for the reporter.
