The RSC budget proposal characterizes government overregulation as a direct attack on the American Dream saying that ultimately Americans bear the brunt of the costs with “reduced wages; fewer jobs; scarcity of goods; higher consumer prices; and less access to capital to go to school, buy a home, or start a business.” The RSC budget proposal says that it is imperative to support commons sense legislation originally pushed by the Trump administration that is focused on restoring the proper balance of power to the three branches of government instead of currently giving the executive branch the most control. By passing legislation focused on transparency, containing and measuring regulatory costs, checking executive authority, and regulatory process reforms America can help rebalance the budget.
