Supporting the Filibuster

Senator Manchin has expressed support for painting the filibuster while his Democrat colleagues are on a warpath to destroy it. On Sunday, when Manchin announced his plan to oppose the S.1, he also noted he will not bend to Democrats’ whim to eliminate the filibuster. Manchin wrote in the Charleston Gazette-Mail, “Furthermore, I will not vote to weaken or eliminate the filibuster.”
