Sanction Nord Stream 2
The Republican Study Committee’s most important agenda item is reimposing sanctions on Russia’s Nord Stream 2 pipeline. President Biden recently waived sanctions on the company behind the pipeline which once complete will give Putin a stranglehold on Russia’s natural gas. The memo says Biden should reverse his decision and implement the bipartisan congressionally mandated sanctions in the Protecting Europe’s Energy Security Clarification Act (PEESCA).
