President Joe Biden 

Joe Biden being the President is something that needs to be considered in the discussion of Taiwan and China. President Biden has been soft on China and has taken a soft position on most foreign policies, unlike previous President Donald J. Trump. It is unclear what the Biden regime will do in response to this incursion by the Chinese government but what we do know is that China was likely emboldened by the withdrawal from Afghanistan.
