President John F. Kennedy will always be regarded as one of the greatest presidents of all time although some historians will cast doubt on these claims as a result of his assassination putting rose tinted glasses on his legacy. Although Kennedy’s personal life was full of controversy, he was able to handle high profile crises as President with ease. The Cuban Missile crisis for instance was one of the points in the Cold War where many thought that the world was going to end, and President Kennedy was able to talk the world off the ledge.
