Russian Reset 

During the early days of the Obama administration, then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton presented her Russian counterpart with a red button that she believed read “reset” in Russian. The symbolic gesture was meant to symbolize new relations between the two countries but the button’s wording was a mistranslation and the symbolic gesture ultimately fell flat.
