A carton or even just a pack of cigarettes can be worth more than just about anything after doomsday. Even if you don’t smoke there are others that do and they would pay you handsomely to get their hands on a Marlboro Red or pack of Newports. Maybe also put a few electronic cigarettes in your doomsday bunker in case any strangers roll through with goods to trade.
