You can always count on “The View” to deliver some of the worst or downright bizarre opinions on politics. This time Joy Behar raised eyebrows when she said Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson reminded her of former President Barack Obama because “he was also perfect.”

According to The Daily Wire:

Whoopi Goldberg brought the topic to the table, opening the segment with a montage of several Republican senators questioning Jackson. First was Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) using questions about Jackson’s faith to drive home a point about the way Justice Amy Coney Barrett was treated. Second was Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), who asked whether Judge Jackson could define the word “woman” — and she could not. The video concluded with Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), who asked about Jackson’s position on Critical Race Theory.

“So I just want to start – let me just say this. Lindsey Graham, you should be ashamed of yourself,” Goldberg said, arguing that Graham had not mentioned any of those concerns during Jackson’s previous hearings. “The last three times this woman came before you, you were fine with her. Suddenly now you don’t know what you are doing.”

Goldberg went on to bring up Justice Brett Kavanaugh, arguing that Republicans were suddenly raising concerns about sex crimes — specifically, Judge Jackson’s record regarding imposing lesser sentences for people convicted on child pornography charges — after not caring about the accusations leveled against him.

“All I have to say is Ketanji reminded me of Obama a little bit because he was also perfect,” Behar interjected then. “He had nothing wrong going on. … What you have here are 50 senators who are going to vote against this woman who is above reproach, the first black woman in that position. That is going to be on their record, and that’s why they’re asking these dumb questions. So that they can have something to bring back to their constituency when they go home and say, well, look at, she doesn’t believe babies are racist and whatever they’re talking about. Who even knows what they’re talking about? But they need something because it’s an embarrassment to the country to vote against a woman of this caliber.”
