Joe Biden just announced his intention to enact a laundry list of gun control laws. He began his speech with the words, “How much more carnage are we willing to accept?” The answer is none, which is why we should arm teachers, arm citizens, and prepare them to defend themselves.
Before getting into the details, Biden said that “this is not about taking away anyone’s guns.” We know that’s a bold faced lie after he refused common sense measures to secure schools. What common sense measures you might ask? Try a simple lock on the doors. Yes, that was too much for the Biden Administration. His press secretary said they are more concerned with taking away your guns.
Almost every mass atrocity led by tyrannical governments started disarming the population. In the 1930’s Germany disarmed its citizens before the rise of the Nazis. China disarmed its population before Mao killed over 65 million citizens. The same is true for the Soviet Union, Cambodia, The Ottoman Empire and many others.
Don’t be alarmed though, Biden said that “this is not about taking away anyone’s guns.” And after all, as our wise president said, “The Second Amendment is not absolute.”
