On Monday, the left-wing publication, The Daily Beast, ran a story attacking GOP U.S. Senate nominee Herschel Walker over claims he paid for an unnamed woman’s abortion, citing a “get well” card Walker allegedly send to the said woman.

“I have no idea, but it is a flat-out lie,” Walker said. “And now you know how important this seat is. This seat is very important – that they’ll do anything to win this seat, lie, because they want to make it about everything else except what the true problems that we have in this country – inflation, the border wide open, crime. They don’t want to talk about that, so they’re making up lies now because they need this Georgia seat. So, I encourage anyone out there, let’s not let them take this seat. If you can go to teamherschel.com, let’s not let them take this seat because if they take this seat, we won’t recognize this country tomorrow because for them to come out with total lies, that’s not right.”

Walker faces Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA), who just raised $26 million in a recent fundraising quarter.

Fox News reports:

The report said the woman provided proof of her intimate relationship with Walker, and that they corroborated details in the woman’s story with a close friend who said she took care of her in days following the alleged abortion. Fox News has not verified the reporting.

Walker, who is challenging first-term Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock in a race that is one of a handful across the country that will likely determine if the GOP wins back the Senate majority in November’s midterm elections, noted on “Hannity” that “this seat is very important.”

Additionally, he charged that “they’ll do anything to win the seat, lie, because they want to make it about everything else except for the true problems that we have in this country is, there’s inflation, the border wide open, crime, they don’t want to talk about that.”

Walker, who is a vocal opponent of abortion and supports a proposed 15-week federal ban against the procedure, said in a written statement on Monday night that he planned on Tuesday to sue The Daily Beast for defamation.

“I know my mom and I would really appreciate if my father Herschel Walker stopped lying and making a mockery of us,” Christian Walker tweeted. “You’re not a ‘family man’ when you left us to bang a bunch of women, threatened to kill us, and had us move over 6 times in 6 months running from your violence.”

  1. I KNOW this! Kids can accuse their parents of things they fabricate!
Whether for attention or retribution. Two sides to every story 😐

  2. Has anyone verified the origin of the Tweet described in the last paragraph? Is it really from Mr. Walker’s son, or is it a fake account using his name to smear Herschel?

  3. Walker (nor any Republican) has claimed to live a perfect life. Too bad this son wants to dwell on the past. As for the claim, how many FALSE claims have DIMMS made; especially when it gets close to election day? After the election, the accusers slink back into the woodwork!
