Senator Joe Manchin has been an ally of President Trump on many issues and was the lone Democrat to vote to confirm Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
Manchin has cautioned Democrats to keep the investigation focused on Ukraine but fears they won’t.
Manchin did communicate that he does believe an investigation is necessary.
