Donald Trump Jr. took to Twitter Wednesday and threatened to campaign against Anti-Trump Republican Justin Amash in the fall primary. The Daily Mail reports:
Donald Trump Jr., implied that he would likely campaign for Republican Representative Justin Amash’s primary opponent in Michigan.
‘See you soon Justin,’ the president’s eldest son tweeted Thursday morning. ‘I hear Michigan is beautiful during primary season.’
Trump Jr.’s comments come after a poll released Tuesday showed Michigan state representative Jim Lower 16 percentage points ahead of Amash among likely Republican primary voters in the state.
The poll from Michigan Information & Research Service, taken June 5-9, has Lower with 49 per cent support compared to Amash’s 33 per cent.
