Michael Avenatti and Stormy Daniels have parted ways. In an announcement, the attorney said he no longer represents Ms. Daniels.
According to Town Hall:
Michael “Creepy Porn Lawyer” Avenatti on Tuesday announced that his law firm, Eagan Avenatti, LLC, would no longer represent Stormy Daniels.
The pair came together when Daniels, a porn star, sued President Donald Trump. She wanted to invalidate a $130,000 nondisclosure agreement she signed with then-candidate Trump before the 2016 election to stay quiet about an alleged affair they had more than a decade ago.
“On February 19, we informed Stormy Daniels in writing that we were terminating our legal representation of her for various reasons that we cannot disclose publicly due to the attorney-client privilege,” Avenatti said in a statement. “This was not a decision we made lightly and it came only after lengthy discussion, thought and deliberation, as well as consultation with other professionals. We wish Stormy all the best.”

I have retained Clark Brewster as my personal lawyer and have asked him and his firm to review all legal matters involving me. Upon completion of Mr. Brewster’s review and further consultation with me, I anticipate Mr. Brewster will serve as my primary counsel on all legal issues

The two seem to have been at odds with one another for some time now. Back in November, Daniels told The Daily Beast Avenatti had not been respecting her wishes.
This is just more bad news for the lawyer who has jumped into the spotlight every chance he has gotten during Trump’s presidency.
