Is Hillary Clinton throwing in the towel on the 2024 presidential election before it even gets started? That’s what she claims.

Despite speculation Clinton is plotting her political comeback after famously losing to Donald Trump in 2016 she laughed off a question from Morning Joe’s Maria Brzezinski.

According to The Washington Examiner:

“No, no, no,” Clinton replied. “But I am certainly going to be active in supporting women running for office and other candidates who I think should be reelected or elected, both women and men.”

There has been chatter among Democratic operatives that the former first lady could run again, with one opinion piece in the Wall Street Journal suggesting Clinton could be a “change candidate” if she made a comeback.

Despite the support in some corners, others have indicated she’s unlikely to be successful if she enters the fray. However, Clinton is a preferred option among some Republicans due to perceived shrinking support.

The former senator is facing scrutiny over her organization’s role in surveillance of the Trump White House, as alleged in special counsel John Durham’s investigation. Clinton denounced the charge as a “fake scandal.”
