As Election Day comes full-steam ahead, 45th President Donald J. Trump’s endorsed U.S. candidate in Pennsylvania, Dr. Mehmet Oz, is surging after Democrat Lt. Gov. John Fetterman crashed and burned in a debate. According to new polling, Oz is dominating the Democrat by a two-point edge. This is a major surge since a September USA Today poll had Oz behind Fetterman by six points.

The USA Today/Suffolk University pol; showed Oz with a 47 percent advantage to Fetterman’s 45 percent support, with a margin of error of 4.4%.

The two candidates squared off in their only debate on Oct. 25. Fetterman, who suffered a stroke in May, struggled to effectively communicate on multiple occasions and used closed captioning because his ability for auditory processing is still limited.

Of those who watched the debate, more than half of those surveyed (62%) said Oz was the winner, according to the poll. Seventeen percent of those surveyed said Fetterman was the winner.

The poll also found 7% of voters who are supporting other candidates besides Fetterman would have voted for him had he not suffered a stroke.

In September, the poll found Fetterman had a 43%-29% lead with independent voters, but now Oz is leading 43%-32%, according to the poll.

With the November 8th election just days away, Fetterman’s early surge in the race is now being cut by Oz, who could very well keep the state’s seat for Republicans.
