President Trump is gearing up for the 2024 general election, this is how he’s doing it. When he looks down the road he can see that in November of 2024, his one weakness could be white suburban women, and how would he combat that? He picks a female running mate.

Former Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake is at the top of Trump’s list. Lake is a former TV anchor and aggressive America first defender that has defended Trump vigorously, no matter the issue. However, some close to Trump feel Lake may only take the job to be one step closer to the Oval Office herself.

Some say, Nikki Haley, who is currently running against Trump for the position herself might be another option. Though Trump calculates that the former South Carolina Governor won’t take any of his votes leaving Haley to be a potentially viable option.

Others say Arkansas’s Governor, Sarah Huckabee Sanders could make the ticket. She was Trump’s White House Press Secretary and she is a pretty popular female figure at the present time. Especially as she gave the Republican response to the State of the Union.

Lastly, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem may have a shot at the spot. As many Trump confidants claim the governor has potential.

While it is nearly impossible to pick who could become VP under a Trump ticket these are just a few potentials. His top checks on a VP list include loyalty and blandness, so they don’t steal the spotlight from the President. Thinking about the VP is important for any candidate as oftentimes they can gain the ticket a couple of votes that the presidential candidate may not have gotten otherwise, but it’s important to pick a good candidate to insure a good working relationship once in office.
