Based on a recent survey conducted by Rasmussen Reports, President Biden observed a minor decline in his approval rating during June, while his overall favorability remains submerged. The survey, which engaged around 7,000 probable voters per month, disclosed that 45 percent of respondents expressed their approval for Biden in May. However, this figure dropped to 44 percent in June.

Conversely, the disapproval rating has remained steady at 54 percent for the past two months, representing a four-point rise from April’s 50 percent. Similarly, the June approval rating of 44 percent indicates a four-point decrease from the recorded 48 percent in April.

Moreover, in Rasmussen Report’s daily tracking poll on Monday, it was revealed that 44 percent of individuals surveyed approved of Biden’s job performance, while 53 percent did not.

The slight decrease in approval ratings can be attributed to the events that unfolded during the Biden administration’s commemoration of “pride month” in June. The administration faced criticism when transgender activists, who were present at a White House pride event, briefly engaged in topless actions.

In response, the White House acknowledged the impropriety and lack of respect displayed by those individuals, asserting that they would not be invited to future events. Towards the end of the month, Admiral Rachel Levine, Biden’s Assistant Secretary for Health, advocated for a “Summer of Pride,” signifying the administration’s sustained commitment to supporting LGBTQI+ rights and equality beyond the month of June.
