No indictment has implicated President Trump as having a direct role in any “crime” uncovered by the investigation. At best, Mueller is stalling until he gets a big break. At worst, this is indeed a backdoor attempt to stop the president from maintaining power and governing by partisans who are defending the swamp. Mueller has not gone public with evidence of a conspiracy between the president and the Russians and should cease the investigation if he can’t stick to its mission.
