On Friday, new details surfaced about the FBI’s investigation into Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump’s personal attorney, and it appears as though the investigation is not related to Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation.
ABC News reports: “Federal prosecutors say Trump attorney Michael Cohen is under criminal investigation focused on his personal business dealings; the investigation is independent of the Mueller probe.”

According to court documents obtained by ABC News, Cohen has been under investigation for months and “is being investigated for criminal conduct that largely centers on his personal business dealings.”
It is important to note that Cohen has not been charged with anything.
