The USA Today proclaimed “Gus Kenworthy didn’t need  a medal to make him a winner at the 2018 Winter Olympics.” We wouldn’t call him that, particularly after he attacked Trump and Pence: “When we have people elected into office that believe in conversion therapy and are trying to strip trans rights in the military and do these things that are directly attacking the LGBT community, I have no patience,” Kenworthy said. Instead of patience, maybe he’ll get a participation trophy because he sure didn’t get a medal in 2018.
