During the 2016 campaign, President Trump vowed to bring an end to the Left’s “War on Christmas,” lamenting about storefronts’ preference to wish Americans an empty “Happy Holidays.”

“You go to stores, you don’t see the word Christmas,” Trump said. “It says ‘happy holidays’ all over. I say, ‘Where’s Christmas?’ I tell my wife, ‘Don’t go to those stores.’ . . . I want to see Christmas.”

Following his election, Trump quickly made good on his promise during his “Thank You USA” tour by regularly appearing before signs that read “Merry Christmas” while promising to make the holiday great again. One year later, Trump is making good on his promise.

According to WaPo, the Trump family Christmas card will indeed say the words “MERRY CHRISTMAS” on it, departing from his predecessor’s penchant for using “Seasons Greetings” or “Happy Holidays.”
