A new revelation hit the news wires this morning.

Allegedly, Steve Bannon, one of Trump’s closest advisors who runs the online news publication Breitbart, met with Mark Cuban.

Their discussions apparently included Bannon giving Mark Cuban advice on a potential 2020 presidential run. According to Axios:

Mark Cuban has discussed the possibility of running for president in 2020 with Steve Bannon over the past few months. Bannon has encouraged the Shark Tank entrepreneur and Dallas Mavericks owner to run as a Democrat, according to a report by The Daily Beast.

If Bannon did, in fact, encourage Cuban to run in 2020, does that mean President Trump will not run for re-election or is Bannon setting Cuban up because he’s vulnerable in a general election against Trump?
