Omar was one of few far-left radicals in Congress who suggested that DHS be dissolved. Remember that DHS (Department of Homeland Security) was set up following 9/11 as a way to defend the homeland from terrorist threats. Omar is suggesting dissolving this department because she is against ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement). This reckless policy would only endanger Americans and open a window of opportunity that terrorists wouldn’t hesitate to exploit.
