The Olympic skier made headlines when she said “absolutely not” to a possible invitation from President Trump. While her performance in the Olympics was so poor that she never had the chance, she has had other problems. She recently told CNBC that endorsements weren’t terribly lucrative for female skiers; that might have more to do with her conduct than her gender, as she’d alienated half of her fan base. We hope she never has to worry about turning away a White House invitation again.
