In most of the world, women have basic rights and homosexual individuals are allowed to live openly without the fear of the government persecuting them but the same can not be said in Iran. Mandatory hijab laws in Iran force women to cover their head and if they do not follow this law they can be imprisoned. Homosexuals are given the death penalty in Iran, just recently a homosexual man was hung for his sexuality.
