Right now, Democrats hold a 5 point “enthusiasm gap” in the latest CBS poll, behind Republican voters. Don’t get cocky, because four months is a long time in politics, and Democrats can gain momentum. Still, this stunt revved up Republican voters, which is bad news if you are a Democrat who wants to take Congress. The margin for error in this poll is only 2.6 percent, about half the margin.
