Speaking of Kim’s little capitalist indulgences, notice his security team is guarding a Mercedes Benz limo, which is what the cargo plane hauls around. North Korea has a very limited auto industry, and imports most of their vehicles, yet it is ironic that he instead opts for a symbol of capitalist luxury. The summit is being held in Singapore, the capitalist Asian powerhouse, which is graciously paying for Kim’s accommodations. Isn’t it weird that the socialist leader likes all these nice things?
