Obama left our nuclear capabilities in shameful disrepair. While we have let our weapons deteriorate, Russia has invested in new technology and capabilities. If Russia were desperate enough, a ground war could escalate in an intolerable way with a nuclear exchange. President Trump hasn’t had time to clean up this particular Obama mess, so this isn’t the time to find out if Obama left us ready for the big one.
