Senator Graham Comes To Trump’s Defense

**Stop Trump from Being Impeached**

Following the anonymous New York Times op-ed about a saboteur in the Trump administration Senator Lindsey Graham came to President Trump’s defense.

According to The Daily Caller:

South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham on Wednesday called “BS” on an anonymous Trump administration official’s contention that there were “early whispers within the cabinet” about invoking the 25th Amendment to remove President Trump from office.

“This person says that there was an effort to invoke the 25th Amendment,” Graham told Fox News host Laura Ingraham. “And that’s BS. I know everybody in this administration. Can Trump be a handful? Yes.”

“So the bottom line if this person says Trump is not serving the republic well. Where I live in South Carolina people are extremely pleased,” Graham added. “He doesn’t adhere to conservative principles. Everyone I know in South Carolina likes the judges, likes the military, they like the tax cut and the deregulation and they like what he’s doing. So this person’s view of the president as he or she is serving is out of sync with the people who elected him.”

“Mr. President if you are watching here tonight, if I were you, I would ignore the article. I would ignore the book and tell the American people what I’ve done and what I’m going to do. You’ve got an incredible story for less than two years of being president and I think the best is yet to come. Just stay on track. You will not be affected by this book or this article. What you will be affected is by are the choices you make.”

Graham also told President Trump to stay on track noting that he is astonished at Trump’s accomplishments. Senator Graham pointed to the booming economy, strengthened military, and incredible Supreme Court picks.
