President Trump is on the upswing, both in polls and compliments. Rasmussen reports that the President’s polls are up to 49%, pretty remarkable when you factor in the unprecedented onslaught he has sustained for over two years, both as a candidate and President.  
 
The President was also praised recently by a New York Times photographer for giving his profession far more access than Obama. This is an indicator of transparency, as Obama’s White House had much tighter controls on information than President Trump. 
 
Couple that information with the fact that the Tax Cuts are working, regulations are being pulled back, there are some good reasons for President Trump to get more popular. As the Russia interference investigation continues to hemorrhage credibility, the harder it gets to tar the President with bad news; the same poll found that half of voters think senior law enforcement officials broke the law to prevent Trump from winning the presidency.
 
As we get closer to 2020, Americans will ask themselves the question that Reagan once asked, ” Are you better off now than you were four years ago?” With better policies and more prosperity than Americans had under Obama and polls that reflect those improvements, the answer is looking more and more like a yes.
