It looks like the liberal anti-Trump protesters might have a “deplorable” one in their mix—after one tasteless protester’s sign caused the phrase “Rape Melania” to trend on Twitter.

The shocking phrase, in reference to America’s next First Lady Melania Trump, came in response to a photo of the protest in front of Washington, DC’s Trump International Hotel. One protester’s sign said, quite simply, “Rape Melania.”

It’s a far cry from the slogan many pro-Hillary liberals were chanting last week: “Love trumps hate.”

The photos quickly went viral on Twitter—in all, more than 38,200 tweets featured the phrase, as of Monday morning.

However, in a rare show of unity after last week’s divisive election, many of the tweets from both sides of the aisle expressed outrage that someone would threaten a woman—especially the country’s next First Lady—with sexual assault, even in the heat of a protest.

Since Trump was elected on November 8, spontaneous protests and riots from the left have rocked a number of American cities—leading to substantial property damage and the arrest of hundreds of people nationwide.
